Great picture Maggie. Starlings always remind me of the spiv Pte Walker in Dad's Army. And I have no idea why... I'd better keep quiet now too, I think!
I know that starlings are supposed to be a pest, but I love them, they are really entertaining, especially when they flock into the garden. I put out suet for them, and while they are nesting and with the hatchlings they seem to love it (and they totally ignore it the rest of the year!).
I'm not really back at the moment, just visiting friends, but I am ok, just having a bad patch!
As it is wordless, am I permitted to comment?
ReplyDeleteThank you for that - I started WW with words too! I have got used to shutting up now which is amazing for me.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo. Very well captured.
That's funny Maggie! I find it very hard to be wordless in most situations! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat picture, they look as though are posing just for you.

Great shot of the starlings. I can hear the roof rattling as they hop about.
ReplyDeletegood post, sometimes its hard to be wordless.
ReplyDeleteI like that picture! I hear most folks don't like Starlings, but you have to love the root of their name...when you wish...
