The picture sums up tranquility, history, a smell of old and new country smells, a soft breeze flowing through the beams and the ghosts of those gone before. Very evocative. Great picture.
Boy did they know how to build in those days? Is it in an old barn?
They just don't make houses/barns like that anymore! So complex, so intricate! Great shot!

Soothing - I am not sure why I find that so, but I do. Maybe it is because it reminds me of history, simpler times, the basics of life.Smiles!

Do you think that rats would dare to set up home in that roof?
Well..... I had some great suggestions there....... not a windmill or a barn and nothing to do with Montebello!I would like to think it was my kitchen roof! But alas it is not. Rats would really love to scamper about there.I will be posting the outside of this building in next weeks Wordless Wednesday, when all will be revealed. Sorry to keep you waiting!
