Interesting photo. Sorry I was kind of confusing you with my terminology of the "floss" but yes, it was the embroidery thread I was referring to. So at least you figured out my meaning.
If you followed the link over to Sam's (my son) you would have the whole thing explained! It is a National Heritage ancient building in Dunster, named The Yarn (probably where all the wool or sheep was sold hundreds of years ago! Last week my photo showed the inside section of the roof! There is no well inside it is just a covered courtyard.
Great photo! I wondered if it was something to do with a market, but then I read your comment about it being the Yarn. Love those old country buildings.
I never would have guessed last week's picture came from a place like this! And if I hadn't seen Sam's blog, I still would be confused. Do they still use this as a market? Oh, I see it was for the livestock...! (I thought they sold yarn there, LOL.)
