Bird On Lily Pad

This photo is the copyright of Maggie May.

I thought I had just taken a picture of a pond with pretty lilies, but can you see a little sparrow about to have a bath?
A little bonus that I discovered afterwards. You may have to strain your eyes!

Watery Wednesday is hosted by 2sweetnsaxy. For more photos of watery things, why not look her up?

  2. Everyone must enlarge this to see the little feathered guy already with his feathers rumpled!
Don't you just love the pure serendipity of some shots when you download them! :)

  17. That's a lovely photo.. the colours are perfect and the scene so beautiful. I love when that happens. You examine a shot and find a bug, a bird or that little something that makes it complete. Perfect!

  18. I see the spadgie, but I also like the reflection on the water's surface, Maggie.

  19. You always have photos with surprises in them, Maggie. I think you plan them that way. You take photos of potentially surprising places and then look for the surprise and there it is. Or maybe you have Lady Luck on your side and she likes to surprise you by doing good deeds for you. She thinks, "Now, what can I do for Maggie today?" Those are her little kindnesses to you.

  30. I do see him! This has happened to me so often, too, Maggie--I will try and try to get a good photo of a bee, for example, and then download pictures of flowers, only to discover a bee on one of the petals!
