By now, people will know that I do love the city of Bath in Somerset. I go there a lot.
I was drawn to Pulteney Bridge, last time I visited. Go here if you want more information.
At the back of the shops is a drop into the weir. Last Wednesday I used a photo of the weir for the Watery Wednesday meme. Here.
However, at the front there is a busy shopping community, all built on a bridge!
It was a flower shop that caught my eye.
Crossing the street I ventured closer and using my new camera, which is a digital Pentax P70, I zoomed in on the flowers. There were so many people about that I had to wait a long time for the shop to clear of pedestrians passing by.
Maybe I should zoom in a bit more. It is a lovely shop, don't you think?
These flowers are absolutely beautiful. I could look at those gorgeous colors all day. I am loving your photography. Flowers make me happy.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful. I live in a rural area, but the closest town is a tourist destination, and it also has a bridge with shops inside. The building is made of wood, though.
ReplyDeleteOk, so I am a huge Jane Austen fan, as alot of others are too, and I have always wanted to go to Bath, I mean it must be wonderful, all of her character (ok not all but a lot) go there! Great pictures, and they aren't helping me with not wanting to go there! Those flowers are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteseems like the perfect place for an afternoon stroll!
ReplyDeleteLovely collection of flower. The expanse of the bridge is marvelous.
ReplyDeleteThat is a good use of a bridge. I love the way you show us around. I like the flower shop, too.
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful glimpse into your world. Love the flower shop!
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous. I also love Bath. Do you have a photo editing program? I use that to play with the zoom after I have taken a photo by cropping incrementally to see what happens.
ReplyDeleteThe flower shop is very neat, so colorful. The bride is very unique, would be a cool place to visit.
ReplyDeletethe bridge is a lovely place to come to have a walk on a lonely afternoon...

ReplyDeleteHi Maggie
ReplyDeleteThe photos are really super and your camera gives great definition. I wonder how many pixels. I have just bought a new camera and I am thrilled with it - a Panasonic DMC-F562 with 10 Mega Pixels.
