Reflections

Photo copyright: Maggie May

This was a photo that I took while staying at my daughter's home on the east coast of England, a year ago. We travelled to some beautiful places in Essex and walked along a canal bank just before dusk. The reflections were really striking and I often go back to look at the photos that I took. This is just one of them.
Watery Wednesday is hosted by 2sweetnsaxy.

I am sure that you will all be wondering how I got on with my recent scan and I will let you know when I hear anything. I am also having more scans this week so it might take a while to find anything out. I am learning patience that is not natural to me.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and emails with your good wishes and prayers for Harry & me. It is so heartwarming and I really appreciate it.

  10. I hold you and Harry up in my prayers every night dear Maggie, let's hope the scans will give them all the information they need so you can move forward and get healthy again....Patience and Cancer cannot be used in the same sentence my friend....but it is so refreshing when you acquire it. Stay well my friend, and tell Eddie enjoy his rain....we are having snow!......:-) Hugs

  18. Oh...couldn't we just stroll and look at the reflections in that beautiful water....sigh. That is an incredible view...and I'm glad that you were able to see it...feel it...and go back through your photos and replay those lovely memories.
I continue to pray so very hard for you, Maggie. As you wait, know that you have friends that wait with you. You and Harry are in my thoughts....and I am glad to have met you, my friend. Maybe one day, I'll have the good pleasure of traveling to England and meeting and talking with you in person. Until then, know that I'm thinking of you.
    Smiles always,
    Jackie

  25. I keep beaming good thoughts to you, Maggie, and I'm glad that you're learning to be patient, because surely that's what you'll have to be. I'm a very impatient person myself and want to know everything Now! Get everything done Immediately! That's not the way things work, do they?

    Love,
    Me

  28. Oh my, Maggie. That picture is simply gorgeous! Very inviting.
And as to the tests -I'm waiting too, just as "patiently" as you say you are. Which is to say no, I'm not really waiting all that patiently either, but just trying to do so. Hope you hear something soon and they decide on a rapid form of treatment at that time too. Peace.

  29. Patience - something we all need to learn and yet it is so very hard to stay calm. You are all still in my prayers.

The picture is wonderful and gives of a sense of peace. All the best. X
