Explanations

If there is anyone left who still reads my blog, they will be wondering why I haven't posted lately.
If I'm truthful, I have completely lost the need to do it.
In my blogging heyday, I had small grandchildren and lots of funny tales to tell, two jobs and plenty of energy and things to talk about.
I suppose with the exception of a few other things I branched out into, I wrote a journal of life as it was then.... sometimes funny and sometimes sad.
However, my grandchildren have all grown up and wouldn't want to be written about and my circumstances have changed a lot and I have new interests and activities that have taken the place of the Blog.
However, no one can tell how things will turn out in the future, so I might reconsider later on. Hopefully my Blog will still be there if that happens.
It was a lovely era, I think.... but one that seems to be over, for now.
Thank you everyone who followed me.

Nice note thanks. I hardly ever write on my blog either. Our lives change and we move on. Hugs.

I have you on my list of blogs and will keep you there, in case you change your mind. I always enjoy what you write.

Will miss you, big sister, but understand your reasons. Guess you'll have to wait for the great grandchildren. I am finding it hard to keep going on the blog because a lot of blog pals have stopped posting ad moved over to Instagram or facebook. Speak soon. x

I will miss you, Maggie! I hope that whatever new pursuits you have found bring you joy, and I wish you all the best. I appreciate your leaving this note, too. I have so many blogging friends that have stopped blogging completely, leaving no explanation, and I always wonder what has happened and how they are doing. I don't blog as much as I used to either; I spend way too much time on Facebook instead:)

I will miss you! I check in to your blog occasionally and was often disappointed to find you were not writing anything. But I can understand your reluctance now that grandchildren have grown and circumstances have changed. However, I'll keep checking, you might change your mind. I enjoy writing on my blog. I can't be bothered with facebook or instagram, never used them. Too invasive. Keep smiling, whatever happens.

I'm leaving my blog open, as well, sweet Maggie. I hardly ever post any more.
I do enjoy going back and re-reading posts; I understand your need to take a break from blogging, and I'm so happy that you will leave it up. (I will be sure and check in and let you know that I'm thinking of you.)
I love you (from across this big old ocean...) and I will miss hearing from you.
Please, let us know how you are doing.
I hope that you have a blessed Christmas and a very happy and blessed 2018.
I will miss you....
Love you!!
Jackie

Hi Maggie

I hope not needing to write it is a good thing? I will miss you, though I'm not here often either but that's not entirely my choice.

Take care my friend

Hope to see you here again one day xxx

I have enjoyed reading your blog very much. I often thought you should get yourself another bunny. But I do understand how easy it is to find interests shifting to other things. I have trouble keeping my blog current. I will keep checking back, just in case! Blessings to you Maggie May...

I have always loved your blog, I found it a source of steady, comforting beauty, throughout my life. When I started blogging my girls were running around in diapers. All 3 are now graduated from college, employed and living independently (and happy). I'm retired and my husband will be after this year. I stopped blogging years ago, but the memories of my very favorite bloggers have stayed with me and I have loved checking in from time to time. I wish you nothing but pure joy.

I too am finding blogging less relevant, and so I think I understand. But I will miss you. And I am glad you are leaving it open. Maybe you will be inspired from time to time.
I have always admired what you wrote. You are a fine person!
Love, Mary

Hey Maggie, I can so relate. Circumstances change, grands are growing up, and outside activities are taking the place of blogging.

I always loved coming here, your blog posts were so down-to-earth, so charming and full of gardening pics and just plain old ordinary life events.

I don't blog as much as I have either. But now that winter is here, I find myself indoors more and turn once again to my blogging friends, particularly in the evenings.

All the best - do keep in touch once in a while and let us know how you're doing.
Big hugs,

Happy New Year, Maggie.

I think blogging is an activity that has its ebbs and flows. Yours was there when you needed it. All the best to you in the coming year whether you write about it or not.

HAPPY and HEALTHY NEW YEAR to you.... I'm hoping you'll be back to your blog soon.

I totally understand how that goes. It has taken until now for me to discover this post. I hope that all is well in your world and that life continues to amuse you. Hugs. <3
