The Trickling Taps.

I have always loved the idea of having a water feature in my garden but have never had an outdoor electrical point installed. Maybe one day I will get round to it.
In the mean time, I like to look round garden centres and noticed this one. Not sure if I would be able to stand the trickling noises with out needing the loo all the time! Sorry to lower the tone of the post!

I'm totally with you - I like the tabs, though.

I love the colors of the bricks and copper bowls. I love the sound of runninf water but not if it's just drops.

I too always wanted a water feature in my garden. It's different and nice.

Lovely photo! But the thought of listening to the water dripping all the time...... :)

Hmm, how strange to have garden taps that are not (if you know what I mean!)

I love fountains and that's a cute one. I miss mine. I need a new pump and haven't bothered to replace it yet. Funny, they never make me think of "the loo" but let me start to wash dishes and it's another story. :-D

Oh, too funny...that's exactly what I think when I see fountains like these...must be our age...the fountains are indeed pretty, though! A very nice shot!

I would love a fountain in my garden too. This is a really neat one and a lovely photo. Thank you for sharing it.

Very nice, indeed. Love the colors and tones of the photo.
I think I would have to upgrade to a steady drizzle or it would make me crazy on top of having to go to the loo!

Water features are wonderful in gardens. I don't have one either. ;-(

Those are really nice looking! I have a little fountian and while it makes some noise, it just sounds like water running over rocks. It's not elaborate, but I do like it.

They're pretty but after a while I'd have to go and switch them off! I have a thing about dripping taps!

That's a really creative idea for a fountain... but I think I'd be tempted to turn the taps off.. just because.

Everybody assumes the taps are dripping, but I think the water is running out of them, isn't it? I would have to go to the loo, because I always have to go when I fill the sink to do the dishes. The sound of running water does that to me, but after a while you'd be done with that, wouldn't you? Unless you had a cup of tea outside.

Now they're different! I know what you mean about the noise though - I have a couple of water features but I make sure the water is running at a rate that it sounds like a babbling brook (at noisiest) and not a dripping tap! lol

On another topic - I am discovering that the blog list or google reader does not update with my posts now I am private. So I am afraid you will have to pop over from time to time to see what's there. Sorry about that but it is the price to pay for peace of mind... Do please come over when you have time. I have posted, it just doesn't show.

Oh, Maggie...I've seen these. I agree with you in that I don't know if the dripping would bother me.

I do like this. It makes the water feel a natural part of the garden

I think it's a great idea! I've always wanted a water garden too. Maybe someday.

That's still very cool even without the electric point. It still is creative. Very clever post.

I also have always wanted a water feature in my garden. However, putting the necessary electric out into the yard would be quite a job. Love those faucets!

I know what you mean, but it's quite nice after you get used to it. Pretty fountain & Happy Watery Wednesday!

Pretty fountains. I think I would prefer the drips than the continuous run.

I think I would have a hard time resisting the urge to turn off the taps:) I would love to have a water feature, too, Maggie May, but I don't have an electrical outlet where I want to put it either. I've seen a solar powered fountain advertised somewhere; maybe that would be the way to go.

Incidentally, the word verification today has an umlaut--I don't even have that symbol on my keyboard!

I love it and adore gardens. But the noise may get to me too. I may want to turn off the faucet. Ah the bladders of us poor women!

Actually, that's what puts me off having a water feature. I'm sure I'd be running indoors to the loo every five minutes!
