Hmmm... interesting. You're probably right about the rain, though. We often seem to have a damp Christmas as opposed to a white one.
I do like to see the Christmas decorations and lights going up, every year. Even our small country town makes an effort. I don't know where you live, of course, but Milton Keynes has a lovely display in their shopping centre, as usual, if it is within travelling distance.
I usually don't care that much for such modern art, but this is just beautiful! We have tons of rain, but we have needed it. There's been a drought for months and months so the we stuff is welcome.
Maggie, you really made the most of being able to use that camera!! I do love those deer, it's going to look bare in the Circus after Christmas without them.
"Delia looked around sheepishly and smirked to herself whilst everyone else walked past her wondering why on earth she had a huge silver reindeer hat on her head..."
Retired grandmother of four. I'm a cancer survivor. I enjoy reading, writing, leisurely walking and looking at other people's gardens and pottering in mine. Living at a more leisurely pace these days.

I looks like ice, but I know it must be glass. Very pretty.
That is a beautifully festive reindeer and I love your caption. Puns always crack me up.
I like the way it is coming out of their heads! Great photo :)
