PSALM 23
The lord is my shepherd. I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul.
He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his names sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
Your rod and your staff they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil, my cup over flows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life and dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. N.I.V.

maggie, can you be sure that you aren't infringing the copyright of some living author with this? I'm not entirely certain but it sounds kind of familiar to me. Lovely pics, though ;-)

Welcome Back Maggie,
So sad, heartbreaking photos...
I can't think of anything apt to say, only that I hope it went o.k. and know that you're not alone.
God Bless X
Sad for everybody.
{{{Cyberhugs}}}.
Glad you are back home.
Sleep well, poor knight.
Oh Maggie...may the Knight be at peace and his family remember the good days rather than the mad ones.
Love - D
Sad but very beautiful post. Peace.
And I agree with riverpoet...
keep only the good memories, keep them in your heart forever.
Thinking of you and your family at this very sad time, God Bless you all, dear friend X
Beautiful photos to go with one of my favorite psalms. I hope your daughter and her family can now move on with their lives.
Glad to know you made it home safely, Maggie May, and didn't get stranded at Victoria Station:)
It's so sad, isn't it Maggie, but I hope your daughter and the kids are okay now. It's good to have you back too. May the knight rest in peace.
Maggie - here's a bloody big hug for you. That is so very touching and tugs at the old heart strings. I hope you are okay and that the family is too. Time heals all. X
That is very moving Maggie. Whenever I see flowers with dad or mum I find it hard not to cry.
Glad to see you back again. Your comment at mine about giving birth made me laugh:)
Peace be with you.
Sad. Just very sad.
But I'm glad you posted this.
Beautiful photographs but so poignant and sad.
Pleased that you are back and hope that now you and your family can move on.
Maggie,
So very touching and beautiful words to go with beautiful photos. My thoughts are still with you and your family, in the hope that now there will be some light for you all to follow.
Take care,
Peter
Rest in Peace, Knight.
Dear Maggie - just got back to find news of the Knight. Had been thinking of you but so sorry to hear that your daughter and her boys have had to bear all of this. And you and your husband too, of course. Hopefully your daughter will find strength to look to her future now and I pray the Knight will rest in peace.
Sending hugs for you all.
A x
The end of a life, the end of a chapter....
May everyone find their peace now.
So sad.
