Guard Dog.

We are lucky to be close by all sorts of water ways and we regularly stroll along the harbour water front that has been modernised with very lovely renovated flats and other buildings. The area used to look an eyesore.
There are many different kinds of boats going along the harbour. Ferry boats, sailing boats and motor boats as well as larger ships and some famous ones at that.
This was a very small house boat and the dog moved to sit by the occupants' bicycles just as we were passing.
Thought it made a good picture.

Watery Wednesday is hosted by 2sweetnsaxy. Why not join in?

Oh yes I agree this made a good picture!
I would love to be on that boat.
And the water looks inviting!
It's still a bit cold here so I can't go to the beaches or piers yet to take photos like this.

That's a good loyal dog. Living on the water must be a fun experience, To always have the small movement of the waves when you are in your houseboat. It must be very comforting.

I love that picture, it's calming but speaks of fun to come with the bikes waiting for the off.

Good picture Maggie - lots of detail and high definition! Makes a great picture. Did you have a chat to the dog? His ears are pricking up a bit!

It is a lovely picture. It reminds me of relaxing summery days. Good one, Maggie! I know that I've said this before, but you do have an eye for a good photo. I'm not convinced that I would have spotted this one.

It did make for a nice shot. It's interesting to me to see those bikes sitting by the water like that.

Wonderful shot, Maggie. The light is nice. I like the way the front wheels meet. Two friends with their heads together.

He looks too soft to be a real guard dog. He does not look as if he would attack anybody.
