I am writing this on Monday, after my pre assessment for treatment tomorrow.
I have been declared fighting fit and will be all set for chemo 3 in the morning.
The doctor is very pleased with me and says that after my CT scan, on the 10th, I might need a small amount of surgery before they go on with the treatment 4. (As a preventative thing to stop spread) I suppose they mean to take tissue away from surrounding areas. I have complete faith in these doctors and I believe I have the very best, so will definitely do whatever is recommended.
Anyway..... you all know the ropes now. I will be too ill to post or comment for a few days & my mind will get more confused than normal. Bear with me. I will be back. In the mean time, I will flake out in front of a cosy fire. It has gone cold again and the treatment makes me feel the cold more anyway.
'Bye for now!
Everything went well today, (Tuesday) and I have been infused with Chemo 3. Just got home and needing to chill out!
Is there anyone out there who did not know that my brother, Eddie Bluelights, has interviewed David Mcmahon on his Sunday Roast. David is a Melbourne journalist, author of best selling books and a professional photographer. Why not pop over and see what you might have missed.

Dear Maggie, what a lovely looking fireplace to snuggle beside.
Wow, you are amazing, sending love and healing huggles, Michelle xxx
I'm thinking of you.
I also was advised to drink a lot when on chemo. It makes sense intuitively - you want to help your body flush out that poison. So keep drinking.
Thanks for the mention in the previous post.
I hope that the fire is keeping you warm. Three down and three to go. It will soon all be over. Take care.

Stay very warm and cozy! Looking forward to good news!
It's good to hear your doctors are pleased with your progress Maggie. Glad to hear the treatment went well. Take it easy and we'll be here when you're ready to post again.
Reiki blessings to you. x
That's a beautiful fireplace beside which to recover. Stay warm Maggie May and let that treatment do its work.
I hope you are not feeling too awful today. Take care. x
By now you are in the midst of it again. Ip am hoping it passes quickly and accomplishes what it is meant to do.
Resting in front of a cozy fire sounds like the perfect way to recuperate! Take it easy; I hope these next few days go quickly for you so that you can feel better soon.
That fireplace reminded me of the one in my bedroom when I was a child. Same shape exactly. They're not allowed in bedrooms now but Oh it was heaven to lie there if I was feeling poorly.
I'm so relieved that everything is going well for you and that you have wonderful faith in the medical team. I shall continue to pray for you and hope to see you back soon.
Stay strong, Maggie.
Hugs
Love that fire, Maggie. Take good care of yourself! Big hugs, Hadriana xx xx
