Tagged By Flick & Here is A Pic!

I have been tagged by Dusty Spider and I am passing on this meme & am choosing five others to pass this onto in the hope that they have not been picked by anyone else in the mean time.

1.The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.

2. Each player answers the questions about themselves.

3. The player then tags 5 people, goes to their Blogs and leaves them a comment telling them they've been tagged and asking them to read their Blog.

Q. What were you doing 10 years ago?

A. I was living in the same house and had the same jobs as I have now. How sick is that!

Q. Name 5 snacks you enjoy.

A. I try not to snack, but I LOVE crisps and cheesy biscuits & oat cakes & dried fruit & chocolate!

Q. Things I would do if I were a billionaire

A. I would make sure ALL my family had everything that they needed in life, I would give to favourite charities, involving children all over the World & people who are struggling overseas........also people in this country. Not sure where I would move or do with left over money.

Q. Five jobs that I have had

A. hairdresser, shoe shop retailer, dinnerlady, teacher's learning support assistant in special school & normal primary school, playworker in after school club.

Q. Three bad habits

A. I panic when technical things go wrong, like computers, heating etc.
I am impatient when starting a new project & want to get on with it right away.
I am fairly untidy.

Q. Five places I have lived

A.I have lived in Cheshire, when it was called Lancashire!
I have lived in a small town ten miles from here, when it was little more than a village.
I have lived in this city since 1970. I have never named this city. It is south of Birmingham & is within fairly easy reach of the east, west & south coasts. My son calls the county Wessex!

Q. Five people I want to know more about:

Rod Stewart, The Queen, Tony Hancock (bit too late!), John Williams (guitarist) and Judi Dench.

Now for the fortunate/ unfortunate people that have the pleasure of being tagged!

The fictional county of Wessex was created by Thomas Hardy, so your son's in great company.

Love the glimpse of your garden in the previous post, too!

David ......The Earl of Wessex, Prince Edward is a REAL person!

There's no stopping you with the photos, now! Nice one of your garden.

We haven't moved house for years. Can't face the thought of it, somehow.

Hi Maggie
Thanks!(?!)
Lovely garden, so big.
I will sleep on my meme(hope it will not be too uncomfortable)
Regarding Tony Hancock, did you see a drama about his life 3 weeks ago. It was very well done and very sad too. Ken Stott as Tony.

Mean Mom ........ This was a local park! My garden is tiny!

Suburbia ......... Not my garden! I will be showing small corners in due course! Plus scenery from my travels!
What a pity, I missed the Tony hancock feature. I used to like him!

Hiya Maggie!

It's not a problem being tagged! I just like to read so many blogs I have to pace myself or I'll never post. lol

As it happens, the Mother of This Lot tagged me with the SAME ONE on 5th April. So I am going to do it now. Thanks for the kick up the bum!

Yeah and I thought Wessex was real - lol! Maybe Edward is a figment of the imagination... ;0)

Crazy Cath......... Wessex WAS real in Anglo Saxon times! The area was very large & covers where we live!

Just to clear up any confusion about Wessex. Quote from Wikipedia:

Wessex was one of the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms that preceded the Kingdom of England. It was named after the West Saxons and was situated in the south and southwest of England. It existed as a kingdom from the 6th century until the emergence of the English state in the 9th century, and as an earldom between 1016 and 1066. "Wessex" has not had any official existence since that time, but it has remained a familiar term since Thomas Hardy revived it for his West Country novels and poetry. The earldom was revived in 1999 for His Royal Highness, The Prince Edward. Today some wish to see Wessex restored as a region of England.

Hi Maggie I just read yours properly (just catching up!) and realised I missed a couple of questions out! I didn't mean to do that - I took my questions off MoTL because I thought it was the same meme (it is basically) so I'll blame MoTL. All her daughters do so I'll join in! (Only joking Jackie!)

I like your answers. John Williams would be a good one to get to know better. Thanks for tagging me.

Thank you Maggie for the visit and the Tag, but I have just done it. It came from MOTL. I'm amazed at how similar our answers are. M :)

Crazy Cath......... It doesn't matter about leaving out anything. It was only in fun! Thanks for doing that.

A Mother's Place in the Wrong ........ Funny how our answers were so similar. Maybe we are similar people!
