I love your photography. Most people would be looking for that perfect spectacular shot but you take the common, everyday stuff and 'see' the spectacular within it. I love the reflections and could almost hear the water hitting on the wall. I like it when photos make my other senses come alive.
Thank you for your lovely comment, Maggie...it means so much to me...you have lifted my spirits today...I am so grateful for your friendship! ~Janine XO
There is no shortage of watery places here either.. I just can't seem to get down to the ocean or the dismal swamp... I really want to go to the dismal swamp...
I have just been catching up with your blog. I hope that the roof work has not been too traumatic. I am sure that it will be worth all the aggravation in the end and when it is finished you will be so pleased with it that you will soon forget about the inconvenience.
This is a cool photograph !! Nice one...Also I Have Started My Own Website And Would Like You To Have A Look At It.I Would Love To Have Your Comments On That Also.Unseen Rajasthan

Nor is there any here, but is usually falling from the sky in the form of rain. :)
You have an abundance of water! Great shot. Hope you had waterproof shoes on when you took that one.
You have a winning photo here. Very unique, Maggie...
Terrific shot!
Love the water lapping at the concrete, the reflections of the chains, the light - very nice.
My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.
Nice how you make even the wet look interesting, Maggie!
Hope your workmen are not put off, with rain on the job!

That's a great shot! Love it.
love it. The same is true of where I live.
Good photo Maggie - we certainly have had enough rain over the past few days to help with watery shots. A x

Looks like it was a sunny day too. Can you remember those???!
How's your back?

Very nice! I wish we had more watery places around. I love water.
I like this. I'm trying to figure out if it was a wet day or it the wet cement is from overflow and/or splashing. :-)
lovely canals - is it a canal
I wouldn't like to fall in there. Looks awfully cold.
p.s. I used to post as Gone Back South! HELLO!
You're becoming very reflective lately, Maggie. Are you pondering life?

You are so lucky to be surrounded by so much water! Right now I am waiting for rain so I don't have to drag a watering can around my garden:)
Very mobile water shot with it splishing and spashing and slapping up against its boundaries.
what a beautiful place!!!!
