I spent most of the day yesterday in my little garden. Cutting things back, weeding, tidying up and repotting etc.
I had a lovely time and although I was very tired and achey afterwards, I found the day passed so quickly and I hardly stopped to eat.
Looking around, I realise I have lots of strange things in little nooks and crannies of my garden but I love finding little things to add to it.
Sometimes children have called it *a secret garden* as you can search and find some hidden thing amongst the plant life.
Other people's junk is fine for doing this.

What a lovely idea. I have a fun neighbour who hides little gnome statues in my flower beds and trees from time to time. She got her tall son to place one so high up a tree that it took a lot of time and a lot of hints for me to find it. I would love to hunt for vignettes among your flowers.
find gardening very therapeutic.... good exercise and I don't even feel hungry afterwards, so good for the figure! I too love putting little statues and hanging things here and there to break up the foliage. I see your campanula is already in bloom - mine is only just beginning to bud.
I love nooks and crannies! Especially in the garden and yours look so cute. I too find putting hands in the earth therapeutic and it leaves me with a feeling of accomplishment afterwards.
Happy Spring!
Hmmmmm, that last comment is rather strange.
Love you insect house and the violets. I only have a very small garden in front of my house and it's always in the shade as it's on the north side, so I really don't know what to do with it. I will have to replace a couple of dead (or almost dead) bushes this spring.
I have removed the *strange comment*

I love being in the garden, but we don't seem to have nooks and crannies. Maybe it is not just not old enough.
I do love working in our yard and garden. I see that you do, too.
It's a lovely way to spend time, make things more beautiful, and simply relax.
Love you, my friend.

That is the perfect way to spend the day. I hope you are still spending time doing what you enjoy.
I love secret things tucked around a garden. Myself, I have a variety of small frog statues.
That looks so pretty Maggie. I am in the market for a bug hotel like yours right now!
How are you?
